In my house

Score from Sally's. Just $15.

I love that it has shelves and that they are hidden by the sliding doors. The back also has sliding doors. So I think it would work real well for a cd player too.

Yes, that is a little ET stuffed toy on top too. I picked him up at a yard sale last weekend and love him too much to put him in my shop. He reminds me of my younger brother. No resemblance, just that he used to have one when he was a kid.

Sweet find!!! Before we got our new TV stand from IKEA, we were looking at 1950s credenzas, and the ones we found started at $250. That's a gorgeous piece. And only $15! How do you do it?!

I see your mission to find modern furniture is going well!!

I totally had that same ET toy...makes my heartlight glow just seeing it.

Gaaah, send me some of that luck por favor! Gracious what a steal!!!

I was baby-sitting ET fans when it came out, but the next summer I named a "fair weather" tarantula, ET for extra-tarantula. My brother and I played with him for a day or so at my grandma's farm in Oklahoma.

Haha I have the very same credenza thing and found mine at a thrift store too! Yours in in better shape, though. Great minds think alike.

thanks for the luck! I found something similar this morning at Goodwill. A bit smaller and sans doors but still cute.
