It's here....Leap Day and Betty Ninja's first giveaway. This day only comes once every four years- Leap Day that is, of course not giveaways. In fact, if you don't win this giveaway, don't forget that I plan to do a 100th post giveaway that should be coming up soon.
So this is what you will win if you are the randomly chosen contestant.
It is a small wall hanging or doll quilt. The blocks are disappearing nine patch that I learned about on Sew Mama Sew's blog. It is actually a super easy block to make although it looks very hard. I hope who ever wins it likes it.
It is supposed to be a little hedgehog in the bottom right corner. I'm not sure if he looks very hedgehog like.
Anyway, the important stuff right? If you want a shot at winning this, please leave a comment telling me which is your favorite ninja weapon nunchakus (hard word to spell I thought it was spelled numjucks first) or Chinese star.
I will leave the giveaway open until Monday and show the winner on Tuesday. Good Luck!
P.S. I forgot to say, I will ship anywhere so feel free to join in my Aussie and New Zealand friends! (or where ever you are)

My favorite ninja weapon is actually the hedgehog. But if I must choose between those two that you listed, then I'll go with Chinese star.
Expect tons of comments. It's a great quilt, and I LOOOVE the hedgehog. He's adorable!
I guess I would have to pick the Chinese star too.
Love the doll quilt.
Oh, I'm going to be so boring and choose the Chinese star too! But how can you resist it--totally sexy and tossable and pointy and shiny? Wins.
I agree with Karyn, though, the hedgehog is a dangerous weapon, especially in the hands of a ninja. Now, a NINJA HEDGEHOG??? The mind boggles.
My favorite ninja weapons are my bare hands.
Good answers everyone! Makes me want to practice my kung-fu.
Um, the chinese star because it's pretty?! Haha.
Hiiiiiiiiii-yahhhhhhh!! (That was my best Ninja cry.)
Definitely the Nunchuckas. Good for face to face combat ;) and who can beat a weapon honoured via the countless random singing hamster toys, singing 'Kung Fu Fighting' while twirling little nunchuckas at light speed - lol!
Ooooooh the faster than lightspeed nunchakus, for sure! And I want these:

Oops, the link didn't work. Oh well, they are glow-in-the-dark nunchakus.
I'm all for the star but the nunchakus are fun to watch.
The hedgehog is adorable!! If it wasn't so pokey I'd say it was a guinea pig though.

Wow - great quilt. And great idea for a competition too - my husband and I have just spent a good five minutes discussing the pro and cons of each weapon! The star is subtle, yet deadly, and no need for close combat...but it is...you know, like, blood-producing and all - it's a pretty full-on weapon. Whereas with nunchakus you have many options....killing, maiming, or just looking cool without even having to hurt someone (although I guess then they become an accessory as opposed to a weapon don't they!)
So after all that waffle, I'm going with the nunchakus. Because I'm a girl who likes options!
Cheers, Bec
Oh I want to play too! I would probably bash my head in with chucks, so stars. I love your little quilt! So dear. This really was a fun block I am so happy Sew Mama Sew featured it! Have a great day, I am off to read more of your blog.
Totally, I'd pick the star. I think I'd beat myself up with the nunchuckas, as I'm a bit of a clutz.
I love your hedgehog!
Chinese star by far...
because you can cause some damage from afar...
corny I know...
Oooo...pick me...I love this little cutie!
your stuff is always so darn cute!
Just tuning in from Canada in time to leave a comment at the last moment (maybe)! I would definitely choose the nunchuks because there is this really great fight scene in a Bruce Lee movie where he takes on this whole gang of ninjas with just one nunchuck. And also, once you throw a Chinese star . . .what do you do when the next guy in the giant gang that has attacked you (I don't know why martial arts enemies insist on arriving by the thousands) runs up for his turn? Um, yeah. Beautiful doll quilt, by the way. And funny sewing machine story.
