Misty Hikes
I love this photo. We try to hike every weekend. This was on top of Piper Peak in New Hampshire. All the trees were iced on the side the wind comes in on the mountain.

What a beautiful photo! In New Zealand, we have this history of the 'man alone' - a term that comes from when NZ was being settled (not that long ago), and there were a whole lot of men here and not many women or families - and this photo reminds me of that.
Well, that, and your dog looks so cute in that jacket! Did you make it?

Interesting about the "man alone" period. I have never heard of it before. Thanks for the nice comment about Misty. I didn't make the jacket, instead I spent a ridiculous amount of money on it. This is the first winter we have had heard and when the season changes she was freezing and so pathetic looking. So I got her this great little softshell from Ruffwear
