I worked on this orange crush quilt over Christmas break. I was inspired by the quilt on Denyse Schmidt's website here. It is full sized, made completely from my stash. The back is fun vintage bits also from my stash. I did an all over cross hatch quilting.
And the back...
Can't wait for yard sale season to start up again. That way I can build my collection one $1.00 bag at a time.

i LOVE this, how innovative. and i'm with you on the yard sale tip.
Great quilt! Love the colors!
love that quilt top! the fabric on the back (the pin-wheel-y one?) is exactly like one of our family's christmas stockings--how bizarre to see it in full yardage... nice work!
Girl, you just continue to knock my socks off!
I love your quilt! I have been trying to get up the energy to make one, but I lose steam halfway through cutting. How long did your process take? I get so impatient that I drop it all and haven't touched my quilting project for almost a year!
this quilt is so pretty. I love that you were able to make it all with your stash!
This is very nice! I love Denyse style quilts. Great use of your vintage fabric!
Blog hopping through Jacquie's list of Project Improv devotees. I like your work!
